US— A web user who sued Google over a software glitch that allowed the company’s Toolbar browser add-on to keep tracking browsing habits after it had been disabled has dropped his case.
Court records show that New York resident Jason Weber dismissed his complaint with prejudice, though no explanation was given.
Weber’s complaint was filed in November 2010. Google had fixed the Toolbar glitch in January that year.
