UK – Market research agency DRG has appointed Paul Wealleans as managing director of Panelbase.
Wealleans (pictured), who joined Panelbase in 2014, was appointed leader of the business in April, following the sudden death of founder Angus Webb. Wealleans also joins the DRG board.
Panelbase is an online research panel with over 300,000 adult panellists and 50,000 children and teenagers.
DRG’s Eleanor Dance has also joined the Panelbase team from the full-service side of the business as research lead.
John Raglan, chairman and co-founder of DRG, said: "Since taking over at Panelbase in tragic circumstances, Paul has demonstrated his leadership qualities, skill and dedication to stakeholders inside and outside the company. Panelbase performance has held its ground – a tremendous result in an uncertain trading environment that is down to Paul and the rest of the Panelbase team."
