Linton (pictured) joined the company in 2017 as managing director of analytics. Prior to W2O, he was global digital analytics manager at Intel Corporation, and has held various agency and client-side marketing sciences and digital analytics roles.

In his new role, he will lead an expanded global data privacy group, working with his team to use the company’s analytics experts to offer clients guidance on privacy regulations such as GDPR. He will also conduct privacy training, implement website cookie management and develop privacy tools and services for the firm and its clients.

Jim Weiss, founder and chief executive, W2O, said: “The regulatory environment in the United States is only getting more complex. In his new role, Dan will be a critical advisor to our clients as he has the necessary credentials to work with our firm-wide leadership on establishing an industry-leading approach to data management.”

Linton and the team will also act as “internal counsellors” for the company’s account teams working with clients to comply with legislation, Weiss noted.

Founded in 2001, W2O offers analytics and marketing services to the healthcare sector. The company has 15 offices in the US and Europe.
