UK – Video insight and analytics company Voxpopme has secured a £1.5m investment from Mercia Technologies.
The funding follows Mercia’s earlier investment in the company in late 2017, with its first direct investment in March this year.
The latest backing will allow Voxpopme to expand its technical and commercial teams through new hires in the UK, US and Australia.
The company launched a customer experience platform, VideoCX, in April, and expects to see continued revenue growth in the market research sector.
Dave Carruthers, chief executive of Voxpopme (pictured, centre), said: “The increasing appetite for video feedback within the world’s leading brands and consumers’ growing affinity for sharing their thoughts via video sets the perfect stage for our next phase of growth. With Mercia’s backing, we anticipate the adoption of agile video feedback to pick up even more pace over the next 12 months.”
