US— Independent film, DVD and TV distribution company Vivendi Entertainment has signed up to use Rentrak’s OnDemand Essentials TV audience measurement service.
Yolanda Macia, Vivendi’s EVP of business development and acquisitions, said: “As Vivendi Entertainment seeks to grow its video-on-demand offering, it is essential we have viewer insights into how our films are being consumed in order to optimise usage and revenue.”
Cable and satellite network Reelzchannel, which specialises in movie news and trailers, has also become an OnDemand Essentials customer.
