Vision Critical receives $20m investment

CANADA – Customer insight software company Vision Critical has secured US$20m in growth funding from Vistara Capital Partners.

The funding will support Vision Critical’s new product plans focused on customer experience management.

In recent months, the company has updated its digital insights platform, Sparq, with new AI, mobile and dashboard tools. Other recent additions include Touchpoint, an application to gather feedback from broad customer bases, and a NPS measurement tool.

Vision Critical’s products are used by companies including Red Bull, LinkedIn, Condé Nast and Twitter.

Ross Wainwright, chief executive of Vision Critical, said the company would continue to focus on growing its customer base and new partnership channels.

Wainwright added: “Vistara Capital’s growth debt solution allows us to continue our accelerated investment in a number of key growth areas for the business, while preserving and ultimately enhancing the value for our current shareholders.”

Kathleen Kaulins, director, investments at Vistara Capital Partners, said: “As customer retention becomes even more imperative in today’s dynamic environment, Vision Critical’s ability to allow companies to effectively engage with their customers and employees to unlock real-time feedback has become even more critical.”
