CANADA – The founder and president of customer intelligence software company Vision Critical, Andrew Reid, has launched a start-up called VC Labs.
The new business will develop software applications to help organisations with their insight. A core focus will be to make communities more effective and offer tools for customer engagement.
Reid launched Vision Critical in 2000and it went on to become one of Canada’s most successful and fastest growing tech companies..
Scott Miller, CEO, Vision Critical, said: "Andrew has been at the epicentre of building what is now a truly global business serving some of the world’s most recognisable brands.
"The recent launch of our upgraded platform and its open architecture makes this a perfect time for Andrew to focus his entrepreneurial drive and creativity toward this new venture, which will also be a new technology ally for our organisation, building new solutions that help customers extend the value in their insight communities."
Reid will leave the executive team at Vision Critical, but will remain a shareholder and active board participant.
