Verve hires two ex-Vision Critical directors
Andrew Reid joins as managing director, taking the place of Jeannie Arthur who is leaving the firm in May to pursue a new business venture.
Steevan Glover becomes director of commercial development.
Verve, which was named best new agency at the 2010 Research awards, said the appointments were part of “a major programme of recruitment and expansion”.
Reid (not to be confused with his namesake, Vision Critical’s founder and president) joined Vision Critical from GfK as a board director responsible for group corporate development at the firm’s Vancouver headquarters. Glover was Vision Critical’s senior VP for European sales and marketing, based in London. Before that he was head of creative and group account director at Archer Young Marketing. Both parted ways with Vision Critical last year.
Verve’s CEO Andrew Cooper said he was very excited to have the pair on board. “2011 has started well and shows all the signs of being a fantastic year,” he added.
The firm runs communities and customer advisory panels for clients including Lloyds TSB, Orange and Which.
