UK— Verve, a specialist in online communities and panels for research, has appointed five new executives as it staffs up to meet anticipated client demand.

Joining as senior research executives will be Karen Alexander, formerly of Kantar Media, where she worked on a range of qual and quant projects in the media sector and also on a newspaper’s community panel, and Sallie Furness, who has previously worked at agencies such as Freshminds, Ipsos and most recently Hall & Partners.

The agency is also adding to its community management teams. Claire Long joins as senior community manager from her previous role as quality manager for multi-country healthcare community panels at PSL. She will be joined by Julie Agbonifo, as community manager, who joins from agencies Network Research and Research Now.

Elsewhere Lysbeth Plas joins as qualitative research executive from Flamingo and other recent additions to the team also include Susanna Pecyna, Patricia Pinakova and Poppy Taylor as community panel managers, Ade Oshunbade as quality assurance manager and Rafael Portas as survey scripter.

Andrew Cooper, CEO (pictured), comments: “We are investing in recruiting a great multi-disciplinary, multicultural and experienced team, recruiting ahead of client demand.”

Last month Verve closed a £750,000 expansion capital fundraising from the its shareholder group to invest in accelerated growth.
