Verhaeghe to lead Human8 innovation

GLOBAL – Marketing insights consultancy Human8 has appointed Annelies Verhaeghe as chief innovation officer as part of several senior promotions and hires focused on developing its consulting approach.

In her new role, Verhaeghe (pictured) will focus on growing innovation across Human8, including developing digital twins – synthetic data simulations sourced from the company’s communities and programmes.

Formerly chief platform officer, Verhaeghe has worked for Human8 (previously known as InSites Consulting) since 2005.

Tim Wragg, chief executive, Human8, said the company was “doubling down” on its “AI-enabled” consulting offer in response to brands’ increased use of AI-based marketing, which he said risked brands “losing distinctiveness and authenticity”.

Wragg said: “[Verhaeghe’s] track record of pioneering new approaches makes her the perfect fit to lead this agenda, ensuring we help clients stay consumer-relevant and commercially sharp.”

The company has appointed head of platform engineering Christoph Coucke as head of platform. Coucke, who will take over leadership of the company’s tech ecosystem, has been instrumental in developing its integrated research platform.

Additionally, Sacha Cody has joined as portfolio transformation lead. Cody was previously chief operating officer at BrandComms AI.

Human8 has also appointed Delphine Vantomme as head of empathy culture and Angie Deceuninck as head of communities, with both stepping into new strategic roles within the company.
