Øutlier appoints leader for European operation

Founded in 2025 by former Crowd DNA European managing director Joey Zeelen, Øutlier’s approach combines cultural insight, creativity and storytelling.
Götzmann (pictured) joins Øutlier after eight years at Protein, where she was cultural insights director, shaping cultural strategy programmes for global brands.
Based in the Netherlands, she will strengthen Øutlier’s presence in Europe while supporting international clients. The company has expanded its team since launching in August last year.
Founder Joey Zeelen said: “Anna Lena brings depth, curiosity and commercial rigour in equal measure. She understands how to interrogate culture without losing sight of business reality. As we grow, it’s critical that we do so without diluting what makes us distinct. Her experience and perspective will help us scale our ambition while staying true to our Øutlier mindset.”
The company said the appointment reflects its broader ambition to build ‘a new kind of strategy partner', grounded in independent thinking, rigorous research and ‘confidence to challenge category conventions'.
