Founded in 2007, UserZoom is headquartered in San Jose, California, with offices in London, Manchester, Madrid and Barcelona.

The company will use the investment to expand its experience insights management platform, which allows users to combine data from user experience (UX) and customer experience (CX).

Pravin Vazirani, managing director, Owl Rock, said: “Many organisations are still unable to properly extract and manage the potential insights that lie within a customer journey. UserZoom helps enable companies to harness these insights and drive improved digital experiences.”

UserZoom has also acquired experience insights company EnjoyHQ, which it said will bolster its research operations.

EnjoyHQ is based in Los Angeles and was established in 2015. Researchers can use the platform to centralise and organise customer feedback and research findings within one location.

Andrew Jensen, senior vice-president, product, UserZoom, said the acquisition is an example of the company’s “goal to simplify and improve the experience insights management process”.

He added: “Our vision is to allow our customers to connect project insights from UserZoom with a broader CX and UX integrated experience insights hub, where thousands of users across the organisation can conduct analysis, share feedback, and discuss proposals needed to create seamless experiences that drive business outcomes.”

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but the company said an “integrated UserZoom and EnjoyHQ product” will be available in the second half of 2021.
