UserTesting secures $100m in funding and acquires Teston
The backing will strengthen UserTesting’s development efforts and investment in its platform, with a focus on machine learning, and support expansion in Europe and Asia.
Existing investors Accel, OpenView and Greenspring also participated in the round.
Alongside the funding, the company also announced that it has acquired Teston, a provider of multilingual experience testing based in Oslo. The acquisition will boost the company’s operations in Europe, following the opening of European headquarters in Edinburgh last year.
Rebecca Liu-Doyle, vice-president at Insight Partners, said: “UserTesting is enabling all teams to unite around the voice of the customer and make better, more empathetic decisions.”
Andy MacMillan, chief executive of UserTesting, said: “Teston fits nicely within our product portfolio. They have built a playbook for localisation that will enable us to serve our customers who wish to get feedback in European languages and beyond.”
