US insight businesses launch internship scheme
The businesses, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, will work with universities and junior colleges to offer research and insights internship opportunities for minority students.
Successful applicants to the ‘minority access partnership programme’ (Mapp) will receive guidance and support from industry professionals.
The scheme will pay interns "competitive compensation" that is equal across the four companies taking part, the businesses said.
Damon Jones, vice-president at Burke, said the programme would "help build a legacy of success among minorities and their communities" and "strengthen our companies and the work that we provide".
Jones added: "Incorporating new perspectives and experiences into our corporate cultures will make us, and our industry, more capable, more complete, and more versatile."
