US— Digital audience measurement firm Umbel has hired ad industry veteran Amy Bickers as director of agency solutions.
Bickers has spent 20 years in the industry and joins from Publicis Starcom in Chicago, where she was in charge of developing and executing media plans for clients such as Allstate, Hallmark and Walgreens.
Umbel CEO Paul Krasinski said: “I am thrilled to have Amy on our team. She is one of the most well-respected minds in digital advertising and brings valuable industry expertise at a time when Umbel is growing aggressively. Her passion to evolve and advance the media buying process while levelling the playing field between buyers and sellers makes her a perfect fit.”
Bickers’ arrival follows the closing of a $3.7m financing round last month.
