Twitter lands Google’s Graham as director of ad research

US — Twitter has followed up its acquisition of social TV ratings firm Bluefin Labs by hiring Google’s Jeffrey Graham to be its director of advertising research.

Graham tweeted the news Friday, with the words “Insights = Opportunity”. He was most recently director of advertising research for the Americas region at Google, prior to which he was worldwide director of performance for media communications agency Initiative and executive director of customer insight for The New York Times.

AdAge reports that Graham’s focus at Twitter will be on researching user behaviour and communicating the value of the company’s ad products and platforms to brands and agencies.
