Turquoise in research partnership with EDF
EDF Energy is constructing the Hinkley Point C (HPC) power generation plant – costing around £20bn to build and due to go live in 2025.
When fully operational it will employ up to 25,000 people, and there are already more than 3,000 people working on the project. Turquoise will gather employee feedback on a range of topics through a combination of surveys and face to face meetings.
In addition to employee satisfaction, the research will examine areas such as on-site accommodation and transportation and deliver recommendations for improved efficiencies and reduced costs.
Mark Harvey, joint managing director, Turquoise Thinking, said: “We are thrilled to have been selected to partner with EDF Hinkley Point C. This type of world class project rarely lands on our Devon doorstep, so we count it a real privilege to play a small role in such a gargantuan undertaking over the coming years.”
