Turner restructures to create insights-led ad division

US — Turner Ad Sales, the ad division of Turner Broadcasting, has introduced a new insights-led unit called Turner Ignite combining its content and data expertise.

Turner Ignite will be led by head of content partnerships, Dan Riess, and head of client strategy & ad innovation, Michael Strober.

The unit will provide clients with planning, creating, targeting and measuring solutions and will include Turner Native Plus which offers native advertising to television using targeting to find the right placement across its portfolio of channels.

Turner Ad Sales president Donna Speciale said: “While other companies separate their data and content teams, we believe it’s vital to bring them together, allowing advertisers to re-imagine the possibilities of advertising in one conversation.

“We broke ground last year with our suite of data products, and now we are building on that with Turner Native Plus and Launchpad.”

Turner launched Launchpad last year which uses its premium branded content with real-time social analytics and promotion.
