Tribal Worldwide expands senior team

UK – Customer experience agency Tribal Worldwide has appointed Mark Sweatman as its chief technology officer.

Sweatman (pictured) will lead Tribal’s tech engineering practice in London, as well as strategic technical projects and on the company’s Volkswagen accounts.

In his new role, Sweatman will report to Tom Roberts, chief executive of Tribal Worldwide.

Before joining Tribal Worldwide, Sweatman was head of technology at VCCP CX, the customer experience arm of VCCP. Other prior roles include at Agency.com and Ogilvy.

Roberts said: “Mark joins us with a wealth of experience across a wide range of marketing technology platforms coupled with an understanding of managing large teams of technologists across multiple locations.

“His deep knowledge of the marketing technology landscape, the changing nature of what support clients need from a technology partner now and in the future, will be invaluable.”
