UK – Behavioural planning media agency Total Media Group has reshuffled its board, with James Cowing becoming chief financial officer and Sue Shaw joining as non-executive chief people officer.
Cowing joined Total Media Group in 2008 as a financial assistant, and will lead the company’s financial strategy and growth plans in his new role, replacing Daniel D’Mello, who retired earlier this year.
Shaw has worked at her own HR consultancy firm JourneyHR for two years before taking up her new role at Total Media Group, and is the company’s first board-level chief people officer. She will remain at JourneyHR alongside her new role.
Guy Sellers, chief executive at Total Media Group, said: “We bade a very fond farewell to our long-term finance director, Daniel D’Mello, on his retirement earlier this year and are delighted to elevate James Cowing, TMG-developed senior talent, to the CFO role.
“Total Media has long fostered a people-first ethos, evidenced by our 85% staff retention rate which we look forward to developing further under Sue Shaw’s leadership as CPO.”
