Toluna appoints new group chief research and strategy officer

UK — Toluna, the online research respondent and technology provider, has promoted group chief research officer, John Bremer. His role now includes that of strategy officer. Bremer has been with the company since April 2011.

Prior to joining Toluna, Bremer worked at Compete — now Millward Brown Digital — as chief research officer. He joined the research industry in 1999, working for Harris Interactive. He has specialised in non-probability sampling, rare populations, selection bias and online survey research and has developed sample selection and weighting methods such as SmartSelect and SmartCorrect while at Toluna.

Bremer is an active member of the research industry and sits on numerous committees.
