UK – Youth market intelligence company The Insights People has appointed former Reach executives Richard Roycroft as commercial director and Sarah Mitchell as group account director.

Roycroft (pictured, left) joins The Insights People after nine years as digital commercial director at Reach. In his new role, he will lead the agency’s business development team.

Mitchell (pictured, right), who previously spent two years at as business development manager at the publishing group, will head up the account management team.

Manchester-based The Insights People has launched operations in Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Mexico and Russia during the last 12 months.

Nick Richardson, founder and chief executive of The Insights People (pictured, centre), said: "While 2020 has been unprecedented year, commercially the business has surpassed our pre-Covid expectations.

"In 2021 we will continue to build on that growth with further global expansion and the appointment of Richard and Sarah to our expanding commercial team will play a significant role in achieving our goals."
