US – The Insights Association has announced a partnership with non-profit organisation Women in Research (WIRe).
As part of the partnership, the Insights Association will commit to working towards WRIe’s goal of 50/50 gender split in speakers, by establishing an anonymised vetting process for proposals received for the industry body’s calls for speakers.
The partnership will also give WIRe members discounts to Insights Association events, certification programmes and memberships for the first year.
The aim of WRIe, formed in 2007, is to advance the contributions and voice of women in the research industry.
Kristin Luck, WIRe’s founder, said: “Study after study shows the positive impact that diversity has on business performance and as the market research industry faces greater competitive threats, we simply can’t afford to leave talent on the sidelines.”
