Terapeak strikes Yahoo Japan data deal

JAPAN— Analytics firm Terapeak has formed a strategic alliance with Yahoo Japan to licence e-commerce data from the internet giant’s auction site.

As a result of the deal, Terapeak will be able to make historical transaction and auction data from Yahoo available in the same way it does through similar agreements with eBay and Paypal.

Terapeak president Colin How (pictured) said: “This agreement provides a tremendous opportunity for both Yahoo Japan and Terapeak. Yahoo Japan has an exceptional reputation as a leading brand and we are delighted that their merchants will be able to take advantage of the e-commerce market data products that Terapeak has built its reputation on.”
