SurveyMonkey appoints new CEO
Veghte (pictured) was previously executive vice-president and general manager of Hewlett-Packard’s Enterprise Group. He joined HP in 2009 as chief strategy officer and executive vice-president of HP Software. He began his career at Microsoft and was one of the first four people assigned to develop what became Microsoft Office.
SurveyMonkey also announced that Facebook COO, and Goldberg’s widow, Sheryl Sandberg has been appointed to its board of directors.
Goldberg died in a gym accident while on a family holiday in Mexico in May.
Veghte will join SurveyMonkey on August 3, 2015.
