US – Advertising measurement and market research technology company Survata has appointed UBMobile co-founder Dyna Boen as president of market research.
Boen co-founded mobile consumer insights company UBMobile in 2013, serving as chief operating officer until the firm was acquired by Critical Mix in June this year. Prior to UBMobile, she was co-founder and chief revenue officer at research technology startup TrueSample, which was later bought by Imperium. Other previous positions include MarketTools, Lucid and SurveyMonkey.
In the newly created role of market research president, Boen will lead all aspects of Survata’s market research business, focusing on using the company’s publishing network to build a brand intelligence platform. She also plans to re-prioritise the company’s existing tech assets and integrate her approach, which combines behavioural insights with geolocation and real-time data.
The appointment follows the company securing a Series B investment of $14m earlier in the year.
Chris Kelly, co-founder and chief executive of Survata, said: “While we’ve had a successful journey so far, we recognised that Dyna’s deep experience, innovative approach and technology expertise in market research would allow Survata to more quickly become a complete platform for brand intelligence.”
