Hempstead (pictured) joins Streetbees from digital experience business Episerver, where he was vice-president of the company’s go-to-market strategy.

He was previously chief revenue officer at Idio, acquired by Episerver in 2019, and before that he led Brandwatch in the Americas.

London-headquartered Streetbees was founded in 2015. The company’s chat-style app is used to collect feedback from users globally via videos, photos and text.

In 2020, Streetbees raised $40m in Series B funding and a further $6.7m investment to help it expand internationally and grow its global headcount.

Tugce Bulut, co-founder and chief executive, Streetbees, said: “Now is the right time to add Seb to the Streetbees’ international team and start expanding our US footprint. It’s been a fantastic journey up to this point and we’re delighted to be able to add someone of Seb’s calibre to our team as we continue to establish and grow our operations in North America and beyond.”
