Strat7 makes additions to AI platform

UK – Market research group Strat7 has added new capabilities to its Nucleus AI platform, including an updated AI assistant.

Nucleus 2.0 builds on the release of Nucleus earlier this year, which was organised around three families of AI agents – Design, Discovery and Impact – to support projects from planning and fieldwork through to completion.

The changes include improvements to Nucleus’ research assistant to make it more conversational and better at grasping the context of a project, allowing users to develop their thinking through an ongoing conversation rather than standalone questions.

Other additions include ready-made prompts and examples to help complete specific research tasks, quantitative analysis features using SPSS files and Excel tables, changes to how it handles complex documents and the introduction of podcast-style audio briefings.

Nucleus will also be connected across Strat7 Group, helping users access services in different parts of the company.

The new platform is part of a group-wide programme to boost its use of AI, including the formation of a network of AI champions across the company.

Jonathan Clough (pictured), chief operating officer at Strat7, said: “This release expands the ways our consultants can use Nucleus and allows it to take on more of the groundwork, so they can spend more time interpreting the evidence, developing the insight and applying strategic thinking to clients’ challenges.

“We will shortly be sharing new ways for clients to benefit from Nucleus, alongside a broader new proposition from Strat7.”
