US – Data and tech survey research company Survey Sampling International (SSI) has bought online and audiences and insight tool company Instantly for an undisclosed amount.
SSI president and CEO Chris Fanning (pictured) said of the deal: “We continue to be focused on building large, robust panels globally, and leading-edge technology solutions for faster access to respondents, with particular focus on mobile.
“Combining Instantly with SSI will create attractive scale economies and accelerate our product development with respect to online and mobile-driven solutions.”
SSI said its ownership would take effect immediately. This is the latest in a number of acquisitions made by the company.
Instantly, formerly known as uSamp, was founded in 2008 and is based in Los Angeles, California, with more than 200 employees across the US, Europe and Asia.
