Former IDC man Phil Hassey named head of IT specialist’s new Sydney office
Springboard has extended its IT market research network into Australia – putting former IDC research director Phil Hassey in charge of the new Sydney office.
Hassey has been appointed vice president of services research, and will also have responsibility for the agency’s work in New Zealand.
He will report directly to Springboard chief executive and European vice president of research, Dane Anderson.
At IDC, Hassey managed research for the services market across the Asia Pacific region.
Springboard, founded in 2004, also has offices in Singapore, Japan and the US, and global research centres in India and Pakistan.
A spokesman told Research the firm was planning to open an office in China soon.
