Splio names general manager for China

FRANCE – Paris-headquartered software as a service (SaaS) loyalty marketing platform Splio has appointed Jean-Baptiste Le Blan as general manager for China.

The company has also announced the integration of Chinese mobile messaging app WeChat to its customer platform. European marketers using Splio will now be able to organise campaigns online and offline and roll out personalised, segmented communications via WeChat.

Le Blan previously held the role of marketing director for the AccorHotels Group in China, overseeing the digital, loyalty, and guest experience teams, as well as branding.

Mireille Messine, chief executive of Splio, said: “Jean-Baptiste is very familiar with the Chinese market and its particularities.  He has strong digital experience and can bridge the gap between European and Chinese brands, and vice versa.”

Splio opened two offices in Beijing and Shanghai seven years ago and says it has over 100 clients in China.
