UK— Jon Priest, CEO of the recently-merged SPA Future Thinking business, has installed a new management board with three of five positions going to former SPA executives.
Richard Barton, previously quant MD at SPA, becomes joint MD alongside Future Thinking’s former managing director Andrew Tharme.
SPA qual MD Charlotte Butterworth becomes group MD post-merger, while another SPA colleague Jo Lockett becomes group chief operating officer.
Michelle Young, formerly finance director at Future Thinking, is named group chief financial officer.
The merger of SPA and Future Thinking was announced in September when private equity firm Next Wave Partners, the owner of Future Thinking, acquired SPA and made co-founder Priest group CEO of the combined businesses.
