FRANCE – Havas Group-owned social media and analytics business, Socialyse, has appointed Philippe Torloting as chief operating officer (COO).
Torloting (pictured) joins Socialyse after 11 years at Publicis Groupe, where he was deputy general manager of Blue449. Prior to Blue499, he was digital strategist for Moxie. He will be based in Paris.
At Socialyse, he will be responsible for developing new offers (including influencer marketing, listening, performance content), improving Socialyse’s platform and products, leading the organisation of the global trading team, and developing its global business.
Torloting said: “In this day and age, a strong social presence is key for brands to stay relevant to their consumers. New social media developments such as influencer marketing and performance content help brands stay on top of their game and build genuine and lasting bonds with consumers.”
Socialyse was launched by Havas in 2013, to integrate its social media offer, including strategy, content, media and analytics. It has more than 720 social media experts based in 38 local offices and operating in 80 countries.
