Smirnoff hires Atkinson for planning role

US — Former head of planning at Leo Burnett Sydney, Luke Atkinson, has been appointed by Smirnoff as vice-president of global consumer and cultural planning.

Based in New York, Atkinson will report to Matt Bruhn Diageo’s global brand director for Smirnoff.

Bruhn and Atkinson had worked together previously as Diageo is a client of Leo Burnett.
