US — Television company Shine America has appointed Kevin Ivey to head up a research department.
Executive director Ivey, who joined Shine America from NBCUniversal’s Syfy/Chiller cable networks where he was vice-president for programme research, will create a new research office and supply strategic research data to the company’s scripted, unscripted, digital, publicity, Shine Latino and Shine 360Ëš teams.
Rob Hughes also joins Shine America as vice-president, marketing, having been executive director, marketing and communications for Saban Brands.
They will both work out of Shine America’s Los Angeles office and report to Shine 360Ëš & Digital, Shine America president Vivi Zigler.
