Sharcc Group acquires insight business

Silent Customer was founded by Janet Wood in 2008, and specialises in mystery guest programmes, customer feedback, sentiment tracking and behavioural insight for multi-site businesses.
The acquisition will see two directors join Silent Customer, with James Keleher becoming managing director and being joined on the board by Greg McDonald. Wood will remain involved in the business.
Sharcc Group formed earlier this year after acquiring majority stakes in Potentia Insight, DataTree Connexions, SigDiff, Potentia Sports, Pegasus Insight and InsightX.
Silent Customer will continue to operate independently as part of Sharcc Group, and adds customer experience measurement and behavioural change expertise to the group.
Ant Randle, director at Sharcc, said: “The addition of Silent Customer further strengthens the breadth of expertise available across Sharcc Group and expands our capabilities in customer experience, behavioural insight and consultancy.
“As client needs continue to evolve, the ability to combine complementary expertise across insight, analytics, data science and customer experience enables us to deliver a more connected and flexible offering overall.”
Wood added: “Becoming part of Sharcc Group gives our clients access to broader capabilities and additional specialist expertise, while allowing us to retain the approach, culture and close client relationships that have always been central to our business.”
