The service is part of the Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh Chambers of Commerce and will operate across those cities, working with both chamber members and non-member businesses.

Research and insights manager Andrew Pyke, who joined Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce in February, is leading The Research Chamber.

Pyke was previously insight manager at the Scottish Football Association and prior to that held roles at organisations including Food Standards Scotland, Tesco and Whyte & Mackay.

He will be based in the central belt and lead a team including senior research executive Stuart Morrison, who joined the chamber network in 2018.

Pyke said: “The pandemic has shaken up the global economy and left both individual businesses and many key Scottish industries reeling. In this volatile business environment, understanding your people, your competitors and your market opportunities is vitally important for all businesses, regardless of their size or sector.”

The Research Chamber works with partner agencies and will offer services including customer engagement surveys, fieldwork, market analysis and sector insights.
