Scarborough hires Condon for commercial development

US— Scarborough Research, the joint venture between Nielsen and Arbitron, has appointed Brian Condon as executive vice president of commercial development, a role he will step into at the beginning of April.

Condon (pictured) moves to the newly created role from his position of senior vice president of sales and client services at Nielsen Online. Before working for Nielsen he was vice president of sales and marketing at ad agency LVL Communications.

In his new role Condon will work with the relevant practice leadership teams at Arbitron and Nielsen and serve as acting chief liaison with the firm’s other business partners.

Scarborough president and CEO Tom Drouillard said: “Brian brings an extensive digital background, and his experience spans client service, analytics, marketing and product development functions. He has successfully helped spearhead new analytic services, which is an area of particular interest for our clients. His combined skill sets are a superb complement to the Scarborough team.”
