UK – Digital advertising firm S4 Capital has acquired digital transformation strategy company Maverick Digital and merged it with digital agency Media.Monks for an undisclosed fee.
The acquisition and merger will expand Media.Monks’ data and digital media and technology services practices and support its global Salesforce capabilities.
Maverick Digital was formed in 2018 in Chicago and currently has a staff of 50. It focuses on digital transformation strategy, Salesforce platform implementation, integration strategy and managed services.
Scott Jamieson, formerly president at Vigorate Digital Solutions, has also joined Media.Monks in a newly created role of global vice-president Salesforce practice.
The acquisition follows last month’s acquisition of Italian creative content marketing agency Miyagi by S4 Capital, and its subsequent merger with Media.Monks.
Sir Martin Sorrell (pictured), executive chairman at S4 Capital, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Belal, Carlos and their colleagues, as we expand our relationship with Salesforce providing services around its various clouds in the key US market and beyond.”
Belal El-Harazin, chief executive and founder at Maverick Digital, said: “We couldn’t be more excited to join forces with Media.Monks and S4 Capital and collaborate with their global Salesforce service offering.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to be able to bring the offerings of the wider group to our clients and provide even more opportunities for our people.”
