ROI firm appoints Arbitron veteran Guyther
In his new role Guyther will develop custom management plans for radio broadcasters, based on people meter data, that will serve as a roadmap for sales, programming, marketing and talent management.
Guyther was previously Arbitron’s senior vice president of ratings services, but left in March when the firm axed 10% of its staff in a cost-cutting exercise. During his long stay he also served as senior vice president of global PPM marketing and business development.
ROIMS co-founder Doyle Rose said: “Arbitron’s loss is our gain, and it will certainly be our clients’ gain. Few in this industry understand ratings and research methodologies as well as Jay. He brings to ROIMS 25 years of direct, hands-on experience with both electronic and diary-based audience measurement.”
