AUSTRALIA— Marketing services and communications house Photon Group, which owns research agencies Jigsaw and The Leading Edge, has appointed Jeremy Philips as chief executive.
Philips joins from News Corporation where he was executive vice president in the office of the chairman, based in New York.
Earlier in his career Philips had spells at eBay Australia & New Zealand, McKinsey & Company and sports and entertainment ticketing company Ticketek. He replaces Matt Bailey, who resigned earlier this year.
Photon Group chairman Tim Hughes said: “We are delighted to have been able to attract an executive of Jeremy’s expertise, global perspective and track record to Photon. Jeremy has had a variety of senior management roles and his background is well suited to leading Photon in strategy and organic growth over the next few years.”
Philips will move to Australia to take up the new role on 1 June.
