US — Multi-screen media measurer Rentrak has won a multi-year contract with Sony Entertainment Television (SET), Asia.
The Hindi general entertainment television channel, which reaches millions of US and international households, is to use Rentrak’s TV Essentials to provide detailed measurement to advertisers and agencies and remain competitive in the South Asian marketplace.
The ratings measurement service provides daily measurement of all TV networks nationally and at granular level for TV stations in all 210 media markets nationwide incorporating information from over 30m televisions.
“Rentrak’s stable and granular TV ratings information as our currency will assist SET Asia to provide detailed measurement allowing our advertising clients to precisely target their campaigns,” said Jaideep Janakiram, SVP International Business- head of North America at SET.
