Rapp expands marketing sciences team with senior appointments

UK – Customer engagement agency Rapp has appointed George Cushen and James Heimers to newly created roles within its London-based marketing sciences department.

Cushen joins Rapp UK as senior vice-president of data science, leading the data science team with a focus on efficiency in marketing spend and attribution for clients.

He was previously head of data and science at Amyris and has also held roles at Bark.com, The Very Group and Farfetch.

The agency has promoted Heimers to the role of senior vice-president of analytics. Previously vice-president of analytics, he will oversee the analytics department, which has 65 employees.

Prior to joining Rapp in 2021, Heimers worked at MRM and Virgin Atlantic.

Both Cushen and Heimers will report to chief marketing sciences officer UK, Andy Rowe.

Rowe said: “Their commitment to staying across all new developments of their respective fields, combined with their empathetic leadership skills, makes them the perfect candidates to guide their teams – and our clients – through the exciting times ahead in data, science and analytics.”
