US/CANADA— Radian6 has partnered with a group of text and semantic analysis firms to add information on people’s feelings and intentions to its social media monitoring tool.
The new Radian6 Insights service will incorporate the analysis capabilities of OpenAmplify, Klout and OpenCalais. The firm also plans to build in analysis from Clarabridge, PeekYou and Lexalytics.
The new capabilities were unveiled today at the company’s first user conference in Boston.
Radian6 was recently bought for $326m by CRM software provider Salesforce. CEO Marcel Lebrun said today that through the new partnerships the firm had “amassed the largest index of semantically enriched social data in the world”.
The firm also revealed a Radian6 Mobile app for the iPhone and iPad.
