Qualtrics names two to senior AI roles

Gelfuso (pictured) will oversee a unified product, research and user experience design organisation focused on experience management technologies in his new job, which is a newly created role at the company.
Prior to taking up his new post, Gelfuso was chief design officer at Qualtrics, and has a previous role as chief product experience officer at Workday.
Hammond was previously founder at Bonsai, an AI company focusing on machine teaching and reinforcement learning for industrial applications, which was acquired by Microsoft.
At Microsoft, Hammond served as general manager, vice-president and corporate vice-president working in AI, focused on areas such as autonomous systems, infrastructure for bridging physical and virtual assets and incubation frameworks.
Qualtrics has been increasing its focus on AI in the past few years, with the company announcing a $500m investment in the technology in 2023.
Gelfuso said: “AI is reshaping every customer and employee interaction. We are accelerating our commitment to embed AI capabilities across our platform to deliver intelligent experiences at speed while keeping people at the centre.”
