Q Interactive makes Vente acquisition
The deal was financed by Q Interactive’s parent company, merchant bank Intrepid Investments, and is the firm’s second acquisition in three months after it bought email marketing firm Postmaster Direct in July.
Vente will operate as a subsidiary of Q Interactive, Intrepid Investments said. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Q Interactive president Matt Wise (pictured) said: “Going forward, advertisers want not only high quality leads but also to know as much as they can about the consumer and the consumer’s needs. Vente’s rich data set combined with our advanced analytics will form a unique resource for advertisers that is simply not available anywhere else.”
Experian bought Vente in 2005. The firm did not return calls seeking comment on the reasons behind the sale.
