PubMatic hires VP of product management

US – Digital advertising technology company PubMatic has appointed Sandro Catanzaro as vice-president of product management for connected television (CTV) and video.

In his new role, Catanzaro (pictured) will be responsible for product vision and roadmaps for the company’s CTV and video businesses.

Before taking up his new role at PubMatic, Catanzaro was head of publisher media strategy at digital media company Roku, and was previously founder and chief innovation officer at Roku-acquired DataXu.

Comscore agreement
Pubmatic has agreed to integrate predictive audiences and content targeting tools from Comscore’s programmatic targeting business Proximic by Comscore into the PubMatic platform.

The agreement will see data from Proximic by Comscore be made available to media buyers on PubMatic’s Connect data and insights platform.

The integration will allow PubMatic customers to access new targeting options to reach key audiences across desktop, mobile and CTV.

Proximic by Comscore is the new name for Comscore’s audience and content targeting company Proximic, with the new business taking over Comscore’s Activation Team brand.

Jessica Trainor, head of partnerships at Proximic by Comscore, said: “We are excited to partner with PubMatic to make our Predictive Audiences easily accessible for targeting on the sell-side.

“This partnership offers buyers access to ID-less audiences that can be applied to private marketplaces to help close the addressability gap left by the many compounding factors driving signal loss in our industry.”
