News People UK

UK – Research agency Blue Marble has promoted Sonali Patel to research director and appointed Daniel Brownie as research manager.

Sonali Patel

Patel (pictured) has worked at Blue Marble since 2021. She is a qualitative specialist who has led a series of behaviour change studies, including video ethnography exploring garden water use during hot weather, working with clients including the Woodland Trust and Wessex Water.

Brownie has joined the company after moving to the UK from New Zealand, where he worked for Kantar Public (now Verian) and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

Tom Clarkson, managing director at Blue Marble, said: “We’re delighted to start 2024 on such a positive note. Sonali is at the heart of so much that is great about Blue Marble – delivering outstanding work to happy clients and playing a vital role in keeping the business running smoothly, while also embodying the supportive, positive and ambitious culture that we are so lucky to have. We’re also delighted that Daniel has decided to join us – his strong social research background means he is well placed to jump straight into some of our most fascinating and complex projects.”
