UK— Nick Barnett has left his position as managing director of targeted advertising technology company Phorm.
A Phorm spokesman confirmed the departure but said the firm would not be making any further comment at this time.
Barnett (pictured) was promoted to managing director of the company in December 2008 following the departure of Hugo Drayton. He had previously served as UK commercial director.
Before joining Phorm, Barnett was vice president of corporate strategy and development at Telefonica 02 Europe.
Phorm has yet to sign up any ISPs as customers in the UK despite a number of major players having trialled its technology, which keeps tabs on the websites a user visits in order to match them relevant advertising.
BT was the first to close the door on the software, quickly followed by Carphone Warehouse. Virgin Media has yet to make a final decision.
