US – Tech-based consumer insights platform Perksy has appointed Tom Markert as chief operating officer.
A market research veteran, Markert (pictured) has held domestic and international senior management positions including CEO of Australia and New Zealand for ACNielsen; president of Nielsen Canada; executive vice-president of sales and business development Research Now; CEO of Loyalty Worldwide at Ipsos; and CEO of Americas and global product development lead at ORC International,
On the client side he’s worked at office supplies giant Office Depot, Procter & Gamble and Citi.

Perksy recently raised $4m in seed funding with investors led by Bain Capital Ventures and including Founder Collective, Sinai Ventures, Torch Capital, MDC Ventures and Gingerbread.
